Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira and Diogo Dalot have all gone out on loan this season, to West Ham, Lazio and AC Milan, respectively.
Pereira has totaled for one goal in 20 appearances in all competitions so far this season. He has primarily been relied on as a rotational player in Serie A and UEFA Champions League play.
As of late, Pereira has fallen out of favor with the team’s coaching staff. He has only played in a total of 41 minutes in Lazio’s last eight league fixtures. More recently, he remained on the bench during the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg fixture against Bayern Munich.
Lingard opened the scoring for the Hammers as he fired home a wonderful effort from the edge of the box in the 15th minute before turning provider for Bowen.
His performance continued his impressive record against the Gunners, having scored four times in eight appearances against them for United, including producing an infamous dancing celebration in 2019 at the Emirates Stadium.
