Action For Highly Rated Harambee Stars Left Back In Europe

Despite the fact that most of the top European leagues are currently off following the end of their 2021-22 season over the past few weeks, others are actively on and over the weekend, a couple of matches were lined across those leagues.Kenya which has quite a good number of foreign based footballers was well represented over weekend as their top left back Erick Ouma was in action as his club AIK settled for a 2-2 draw with IF Elfsborg in a Swedish Allsvenskan league match.

AIK opened the scoring in the 17th minute through Nicolas Stefanelli but Gustav Henriksson cancelled their lead in the 25th minute after netting an equalizer.AIK took the lead yet again in the 49th minute but Nicolas Stefanelli's own goal in the 71st minute ensured a 2-2 scoreline at the end of the match.

After the draw, Ouma's AIK remained at the second position on the Swedish Allsvenskan league table with 25 points from 14 matches which is 3 points behind league leaders Häcken.Ouma's Kenyan club mates at AIK who include Henry Meja and Collins Sinchenje were unused substitutes in that match.

With the next AIK's outing scheduled for July 17, do you think that Henry Meja and Collins Sinchenje might end up marking their appearances then? Feel free to share your views on the comment section and remember to share and follow for more news.
