Several days ago kenyans were treated to a shocking news that a famous kenyan athlete had been killed under some unclear circumstances.
According to sources Tirop was reportedly stabbing to death by her estranged lover before he took to his heels.
Ibrahim Rotich would later be nabbing by detectives as he tried to flee the country through the coastal area.
He is currently Being held alongside his accomplice for the murder of Agnes Tirop.
However today the government pathologist has revealed what really killed the famous athlete.
“Generally, the examination has shown injuries due to stab wounds to the neck and trauma to the head,” said Dr Njeru after a three-hour examination at the Iten County Referral Hospital mortuary.
She declined to give further details, noting that the team of two pathologists and forensic experts had handed the report to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for further investigations.
The family is currently calling for justice and return of the property under Ibrahim's name.
