With the last set of Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) round of 16 matches scheduled for today on January 26th, K24 TV is expected to air live one of the two remaining matches live.After successfully airing the Tuesday night fixture between Senegal and Cape Verde which ended with a 2-0 victory for Senegal, the TV channel through it's social media platforms has confirmed that they will be airing live the much contested match between Ivory Coast and Egypt.
This match which will be a battle between two African football giants will kick off at exactly 7.00pm at Doulala stadium.Ranked at position 56 globally, Ivory Coast are two times AFCON champions in 1992 and 2015 and have finished as runners up on numerous occasions.
On the other side, Egypt who are nicknamed 'The Pharaohs' are currently ranked at position 45.They have won AFCON on a record seven times the most recent one being in 2010.At group stage, they finish behind Nigeria in group D with 6 points.
