Manchester City: Team News, Predicted Line-up and Score Predictions.

The Manchester derby, is set to be played today at Old Trafford.

The Citizens will be today visiting the 20× Premier League champions Manchester United for a league match, at Old Trafford starting from 1530hrs.

In their last outing at Etihad stadium, the Citizens ran riot over the Red devils by grabbing a huge win of 6 to 3 against their rivals.Thereafter, Ten Hag's side picked up their momentum, where they have played 18 competitive matches suffering only one defeat which came in a league match against Aston Villa.

On the other Hand, Man city lost their mid-week game to Southampton, and this was after the Citizens humiliated Chelsea by 4 goals to nil in the FA Cup.

Team News.

According to City's boss Pep Guardiola, Ruben Dias will be back in action after sustaining a hamstring injury during the World cup. All City players are said to be fit, except John Stones who missed the game against Southampton due to fitness issues, and it is confirmed that he is not ready.

Predicted Line-up.

First team players who missed the action against Southampton, are set to step back into the starting line-up.

Between the sticks, no doubt Ederson will start. Kyle Walker who started in an unusual Centre back position in the Carabao game, will have to switch back into his right back position. Joao Cancelo, will be a preferable option on left back position over Ake and Gomez in the pecking order. The centre back position, might be filled by Manuel Akanji and Aymeric Laporte.

Kalvin Phillips and Cole Palmer who started in the mid-week game in the midfield, are expected to pave way for Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne back in the starting berth.

Mahrez who is currently on top form, might be called back into action together with Haaland who is set to spearhead City's attack. Foden who scored a hatrick against Manchester United at Etihad, might be given a chance to compelete the forward.

Line-up :

Goalkeeper; Ederson.

Defenders; Walker, Laporte, Akanji, Cancelo.

Midfielders; Rodri, Silva, De Bruyne.

Forward; Mahrez, Haaland, Foden.

Score Prediction

Though he lost a game against Southampton and Manchester United is in a good form, we can not rate out Pep's tactics. We will see all first team players returning back into action, and i will say City win 2 goals to 1 against Manchester United.

Do you think Man City will grab a win over Manchester United?
