The Dismissal by the club is in the wake of poor and inconsistent performances in the FKF Premier League by Mathare united.
The 'Slum Boys' started the 2019/20 season badly, struggling to get consistent results, but it changed and by the time the league was suspended owing to the coronavirus outbreak, they had managed to move up to the eighth position with 33 points from 22 matches.
It seems the Mathare united management got tired of Salim`s poor performance and opted to replace him with the Former Wazito FC coach Frank ouna
In the 15 games they have played this season,The 2008 Kenya premier league champions have managed only 10 points with 2 wins,4 draws and suffering 9 heavy defeats.
The club CEO has hoped that the former harambee stars coach Bobby Williams could join the technical bench to help Frank Ouna till the end of the season.
With this new management by the MATHARE UNITED technical bench, there's hope for the club to avoid relegation and atleast retrieve it's forgotten Glory. This is a club that has had great football legends like Dennis Oliech
All the best to MATHARE UNITED and ofcos to the former Head Coach Salim Ali.
