After Mohamed Salah said that the Champions League final was about "revenge," Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal sent him a strong message.

Salah made headlines earlier this month when he said he wanted to play in the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
"To be honest, I want to play Madrid," the Egyptian told BT Sport. City is a very tough team, and we've played against them a few times this season.

"Personally, I believe I would like Madrid. We lost the final to them, so I'd like to play them again and win."
He said, "It's time to get back at them. The last time we played them, they beat us in the final. So, yes, it was a very bad day for everyone.

Carvajal says in response to Salah's comments that he understands why the Egyptian wants to play Real Madrid again in the final. Salah shouldn't be a "drag" if he loses another final to Madrid, the Spaniard said.

"It is true that if you lose the Champions League final, you always want another chance to beat the same team."
"Let's hope that Salah doesn't find it too hard to lose a second Champions League final to Real Madrid."
