One Of The ‘Best’ Young English Talents Wants Chelsea Move After Rejected Offer

Chelsea's interest in Everton midfielder Anthony Gordon has finally resulted in a bid in the £40-45 million range.

Of course, Everton do not want to sell one of their most promising young players.

However, according to the Telegraph's Mat Law, Anthony Gordon wants the move even though Everton may have rejected Chelsea's offer.

According to Matt Law, Gordon is interested in a change of scenery after battling relegation, a chance to play in the Champions League, and the opportunity to play alongside world-class players at Chelsea.

Chelsea would like Gordon to revitalize their offense. Other than that, Law goes on to say, "The interest in Gordon is driven by a desire to try to sign some of the best young English talent."

Chelsea wants to compete with the Premier League's big boys, Manchester City and Liverpool, and they need to invest in their squad to do so. If they are willing to spend that much money on Antony, it is clear that he is in their future plans. Gordon's future is unknown for the next 15 days, but he could move from Goodison Park to Stamford Bridge.
