When it comes to foreign based footballers, Kenya has quite a good number of them when compared to other East African countries. With the year expected to end today, Kenya national team (Harambee Stars) forward Ismael Dunga's contract with Japanese J1 League club Sagan Tosu is too expected to end today.
Dunga joined Sagan Tosu in January 2021 after which he went on to sign a 2 year long deal.At Sagan Tosu, he struggled for game time as he managed only 9 appearances which totalled up to 84 minutes.Due to these, the club offered him out on loan to Japanese third tier league side Kamatamare Sanuki in February 2022.At Sanuki, he struggled for game time yet again managing only 4 appearances.
The 29 years old has played for different clubs across different leagues of the world such as Napsa, Luftetari, KF Tirana and KF Vllanznia. He won the Albanian Superliga with KF Tirana over the 2019-20 season.
Which league and club do you think will be Dunga's next destination? Feel free to share your views on the comment section and remember to share, like and click on the follow button at the top right corner for more news and updates.
