Former Sony Sugar and KCB striker Derrick Otanga has left KCB after leading the goalscorer's chart last season. The 23 year old striker is set to join an Algerian club as he looks to begin his new adventure in a foreign league.According to sports journalist Kevin Teya, Otanga has left the Kenyan side as he looks set to pen a new deal with the unnamed side.The young forward has been consistent in his two previous seasons where he finished second and first in the scoring chart consecutively.
Kenyan players have been securing lucrative deals abroad despite the national team not playing international games. It is a huge move for Otanga who rose to fame two seasons ago.We wish him all the best ahead of his new challenge.
