Chelsea and Manchester City were locking horns at Wembly stadium today in the FA cup semifinals. Each club was looking forward to reach the finals of this competition and possibly win the FA cup.
Manchester city had been on top form this season as they were in all the competitions and this made Chelsea to prepare well since they knew what The Sky Blues were capable of.
The last time these two had met was in the premier league where Manchester city won. Today Chelsea were looking forward to knock their rivals out of this competition so that they can reach the finals of this cup.
Each team show their willingness to win this match as they both created many chances in the first half. Ziyech had scored a goal but it was disallowed in the first half after being ruled offside.
One of the players who were on top form in that match was Azipilicueta as he really helped his side to keep of top Manchester strikers from finding the back of the net. He managed to silence Kelvin De Bryune and Sterling who were on top form in that match. This two are known to be the pillars of Manchester city as they have humiliated many defenders.
Today, they failed to continue with their good run as Azipilicueta managed to silence them all blocking their crosses and making sure they didn't enter their box. Azipilicueta has been one of Chelsea most important player as he has helped them alot.
Chelsea ended up reaching the finals after beating Manchester city 1-0. Despite Dse Bryune and Sterling top performance, Azipilicueta managed to Silence them and took his team to the finals of FA cup
