How Pep Guardiola Would Line-up Against West-Ham Clash Despite Another Injury Crisis In Defense

Manchester City squad recently received a big blow after three of their first-eleven defense players got injuries. This has become a challenge even though they are leading the table with three points, clear of Liverpool who won't be in action this weekend.

This guarantees the squad six points on top of Liverpool were they to win tonight's clash with West Ham. However, with Aymeric Laporte and Fernandino's latest injuries, Pep Guardiola will have to use a better tactic to win the determined West Ham.

Rodri would probably step up and hold the center-back role. Nathan Ake was on the bench during the Wolves game, so he would have to step in too if Laporte and Fernandino will not get better by then.

Things will also shift in the midfield. Bernardo Silva will have to come in and help Ilkay Gundogan hold the middle. Given the former In which Kevin De Bruine is in especially after netting four goals against Wolves, he will be able to start.

Riyad Mahrez missed the last two of his Premier League games. He would therefore be the best pick to play one wing for Pep Guardiola. Jack Grealish also will have a better chance of playing than Raheem Sterling, with Phyl Foden on the bench last weekend, he would also get in.
