Chelsea are ready to complete a new signing very soon as the club is prepared to break banks for a world class arrival. The summer has been stiff in securing a striker for Tuchel but a perfect striker has been secured with negotiations in the final phase before official announcement is made.
Previously, Chelsea made a reportedly huge bid for Inter Milan forward Romelo Lukaku which included Marcos Alonso and a fee of around £80m, the offer was instantly rejected by the Italian Giants. However a new twist has emerged with the European Giants prepared to offer a value of atleast £100m for the 28 year-old Belgium Striker.
Recent reports from the Skysport-Italian claim that Inter Milan will be ready to any valuation of £100m for their asset. This is a fee the premier league Giants are willingly ready to pay for a striker this summer. It is therefore crystal clear that Chelsea will be signing Lukaku in the next couple of days as the Belgium international has been their prior target after losing interest in Erling Halaand.
Lukaku agreed on personal terms with Chelsea, sets of lucrative offers to lures the top star were stalled. A double wage rise that will see him earn £15m in comparison to £8.5m in Italy.
In your opinion, how do you feel Lukaku at Stamford Bridge?
