Gor Mahia Loses to Congolese Side AS Otoho in CAF Confederation Cup as Tusker FC Settles on a Draw

Gor Mahia had a hard time in Congo as they lost to hosts AS Otoho d'Oyo in their CAF Confederation Cup match.

Mahia who are representing the country lost 1-0 with the sole goal coming from Okouri in the 63rd minute of the match.

Gor Mahia went into the match with 14 players only - starting lineup and three substitutes - after two players were ruled out on Covid-19 grounds.

Gor Mahia alias K'Ogalo will have to beat the Congolese team in the second leg encounter scheduled for 5th December. The match will be played at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi.

Elsewhere, Tusker FC settled on a draw against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien at Nyayo National Stadium and are set to play the return leg in Tunisia; a week later.

The two Kenyan sides will be fighting for a place into the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup with the return leg matches being the decider.
