Diego Maradona has for long been regarded as best football player to ever come out of Argentina.This is majorly because he helped the country to win its only world cup trophy in 1986,a Copa America title in 1992 and the Finalissima trophy in 1993.However the past one year has seen this debate heat up with many claiming Lionel Messi is now the best to ever come out of Argentina.This is after he helped them win the Copa America title last year and also the Finalissima trophy yesterday.
An international trophy was the only thing Messi was being put away with but now that he finally has two,he is miles ahead.This two international trophies in addition to the thirty eight he has won at club level with Barcelona and now Paris Saint Germain,Maradona can not come close.His next aim is to win this year's world cup title and end up becoming the best not just in Argentina but the whole world.
