Man United Set To Solve Their Midfield Problem Using A Marquee Player

Michael Carrick and McKenna are working with Scott McTominay on the discipline and passing required to operate as a sole sitter but further work is still needed from Ole in getting the player to know instinctively where he needs to be.

Manchester United are planning to use Scott Mctominay as the Defensive midfielder and use Paul Pogba at the midfield to act as pivot. They are planning to drop the Brazilian Fred Rodriguez who has been floppy this season and who is prone to making more mistakes that has so far costed the team.

On Saturday Fred Rodriguez failed to tackle Demarai Gray to an extend that it led to a goal that was scored by Townsend. Man United assistant manager Michael Carrick believe that they can turn everything around by employing Scott Mctominay as the central Defensive Midfielder and use Paul Pogba as the pivot due to his ability to pass the ball and recover passes.
