Harambee Stars goalkeeper Patrick Matasi has been linked with a move to Azam FC home to another Kenyan Kenneth Muguna. Matasi was outstanding for Tusker FC keeping over 18 clean sheets on their way to winning the league last season. The former St Georges goalkeeper returned from a cruelling road accident to make a name for himself at Tusker FC and became their first choice number one.
According to Mozzart sports updates, the Kenyan is now linked with a move to Tanzanian mainland league after Azam FC registered interests for the player. The experienced player will be a good addition to Azam FC who will be looking to strengthen their squad ahead of next season after having a bad outing this ending season. Matasi could take the chance to move abroad once again as he looks to finish his career on a high.
Other Kenyan players who featured for Azam FC include striker Allan Wanga,Joakins Atudo and Muguna. We wish him all the best ahead. For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner if you haven't done so to receive more news.
