Barcelona's President: Raphinha Wants to Come to Barcelona And We Have Spoken With Leeds

Tuchel's Chelsea are currently among the top clubs yet to make significant signings in this summer transfer window. The Blues have however been linked with a number of top players in the market with Tuchel's masterclass in identifying top talents becoming evidently clear.

Among the top players that have been heavily linked with Chelsea include Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, Jules Kounde and Raheem Sterling. On Raphinha's potential move to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea had reached agreement with Leeds United on the player's valuation.

The two English clubs were only waiting for the player's decision with personal terms also yet to be agreed. However, Spanish top club FC Barcelona have moved in hijack the deal and could easily win the battle. Barcelona's president, Joan Lapporta has today revealed that Raphinha wants to join Barcelona.

The Spanish top club have been eyeing the star since the window started but are yet to reach an agreement with Leeds United as compared to Chelsea. Lapporta's statement today has come as a huge heartbreak to Chelsea fans who were eagerly waiting for the player's move to Stamford Bridge.
