Manchester United have already signed full back Tyrell Malacia. At the same time they have an agreement in place with Christian Eriksen now just awaiting announcement. They are still in the chase for Frenkie De Jong and Ajax forward Antony even as Ronaldo wants out.
For Manchester United to accommodate both Eriksen and Fernandes, they will need to use a 4:3:3 formation. They have been using 4:2:3:1 over time.
In a 4:3:3 formation, David De Gea will start at the goal post as Tyrell Malacia operates from the left back position.Harry Maguire is likely to still start at center back while Rafael Varane when fully fit will be the surest partner. Diogo Dalot at right back as first choice over Aaron Wan Bissaka.
A midfield of Scott Mc Tominay, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes is likely to be in the offing, with Bruno supporting the defense as a box to box. Marcus Rashford, Antony Martial and Jadon Sancho likely to form the attack.
The line up prediction is likely to change over time though considering their are more signings that are likely to be brought in.
