Good results for Harambee Stars midfielder in Europe as he looks to jet in for Uganda tie

Harambee Stars and Jorkopings Sondra FC midfielder Johanna Omondi continued to impress for his club in a league match helping the side to a triumphant victory against Gais away. The Kenyan versatile midfielder will jet into the country on Monday ahead of the national team assignments inthe world cup qualifiers match against Uganda and Rwanda respectfully.

The Sweden based Omondi received a call up after missing out in the national team in a couple of matches. Ghost Mulee chose him over his counterpart Johana Omollo who scored his last goal against Togo in Nairobi last year. Omondi has a good relationship with star striker Michael Olunga upfront, and their reunion will boost the side in terms of goal contributions. Omondi is known for his speed and strength in midfield as well as an eye for the goal.
