Eddie Nketiah in Newcastle's radar and Eddie Howe is confident of sealing the deal

Newcastle's United Manager Eddie Howe is still looking for options to bolster his squad and he is looking to bringing at most four new players before the transfer window closes.

Eddie Howe has turned his attention to Arsenal's Hale End graduate Eddie Nketiah after he saw a deal for Atalanta's forward Duvan Zapata turned down. According to the Telegraph, Newcastle United have are working on a deal to lure Nketiah and are confident of signing the player.

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta had previously said that the 22-year-old would not be sold despite turning down proposals to put to paper a new deal with only six months left on his initial contract at the Emirates.

Nketiah's reasons for failing to renew his contact is because of lack of game time and he feels he needs regular first-team football. Arsenal may be forced to cash out the player rather than lose him on a free transfer at the end of the season.
