Smith Rowe speaks about his Dangerous injury. “A lot of people might not know, but I have had this injury since I was 18/19. It has been quite hard to deal with it over the years. But I am really happy that it is just finally over. I had a successful surgery and I am really feeling really good.”
“The whole team was around me. [Arteta] really helped me and obviously, I had my family back home supporting me. So it was really tough, but I managed to get through it and I'm just happy I’m fully fit now.” He added.
Smith Rowe appreciated the team for being for him. “I was pretty much with them from the start after surgery. I was in all the meetings, trying to keep up with the knowledge and learnings every day that we needed to apply in training. It has been much easier than I thought. I am just happy to be back now.”
He also said that he is good now. “It’s really good to be back on the pitch with my teammates. It's been difficult being out for this long. I don’t think I've had this [long a lay-off] before - but at the same time, we are top of the league and playing really well, so I can’t complain!”
