Chelsea defender finally completes transfer move from the club

Though some of their key players are injured, the blues have decided to let one of the best young defenders leave Stamford Bridge until the end of the season. On their official website, Chalton Athletic have confirmed the signing of Juan Castillo from Chelsea. After completing the move the 22-year-old explained he is looking forward to playing for the Addicks. He said: "I'm really excited and looking forward to working with everyone and playing at The Valley in front of the fans."Once I heard that Charlton were interested, I looked at games on YouTube and the first thing that stood out was the fans and the atmosphere.

"I'm a creative player, I like to get up and down the left side and I bring energy. I hope that I can develop here and have a successful time. I can't wait to get started and show what I can do."

Another academy player is also likely to leave is Andreas Christiansen after rejecting to sign the latest contract the club offered him. Barcelona are the front runners for his signature.
