The relegation zone is full of surprises and since West Bromwich signed Lampard's uncle, Sam Allardyce as manager, they have collected quite the points. They thrashed Chelsea five goals to two bringing their tally to 21 points.
Fulham failed to capitalize on an amazing first half performance to go down three goals to one in the second half to Aston Villa. Fulham remain at 26 points after thirty one games. Newcastle's draw earlier to Spurs at home sees them comfortably at 29 points at number seventeen.
Palace, Wolves, Burnley, and Brighton are still technically not yet out of the woods as they've not gotten to 40 points yet which is the mark that means you're safe. The remaining eight games will be all to play for as Fulham looks to get out of that zone.
Sheffield are technically relegated as they cannot mathematically survive the battle this time round.
