In the recent weeks there has been a debate amongst many Kenyans after FKF boss Nick Mwendwa indicated that there are no football talents in our country. This in my observation could be untrue.
Kocaelispor moved to Ankara Aktepe Stadium to face struggling Keciorengucu. It was a must win game for the hosts.
Omollo who started the game played behind South African striker Dino Ndlovu. He in most times produced brilliance as he released fine passes that gave Keciorengucu defenders hard times to intercept. His combination in midfield with Marcos Pereira and Barn Keser has been great since he joined the club early this season.
A through pass in the 81st to Ndlovu by Omollo led to referee pointing on the penalty spot after he(Ndlovu) was brought down. Ndlovu netted the penalty and helped his side to win by one goal to nil. Kocaelispor moved to position three with 17 points after eight matches.
Keciorengucu remain at the bottom of the table with just six points.
