It is bad news to Jesse Lingard fans as well as Ma United fans globally as Jesse Lingard has been identified as one of the stars who could catalyze Newcastle United’s spending spree amid their £305m take over late this week. Mike Ashley’s 14-year reign at the helm of the Magpies came to a stunning end after a Saudi Arabian-led consortium purchased the club from the British billionaire.
Jesse Lingard has been performing well ever since he was loaned to West Ham United last summer. The 28-year old emerged as one of the top scores as he scored 11 goals having only played half of the season for the Hammers.
Newcastle United has now emerged as the favorite to secure the signature of the 28-year old after Saudi took over. Lingard's decision to depart from Old Trafford is more likely due to a lack of playing time at the club despite him being a high prolific midfielder.
