Inter Milan were already crowned Italian Serie A champions even before they faced off with Udinese at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro, Milan on Sunday afternoon.
Antonio Conte's side ended the season with a 5-1 thumping of Udinese in a day that Ivan Perisic, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen netted 3 of the 5 goals after being introduced as substitute players.
Former Manchester United's Ashley Young opened the scoring for the champions in the 8th minute by lifting the ball over Hamir Handanovic in goal.
In the 38th minute, former Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen replaced Stefano Sensi and his presence was fruitful six minutes later after doubling Inter's lead just before the break.
Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez were substituted paving way for Ivan Perisic and Romelu Lukaku who has been instrumental for the Italian outfit since leaving Old Trafford.
The pair scored in the 64th and 71st minutes respectively to make it 5-0 for Inter before before they pulled back their consolation.
Lautaro had put Inter Milan 4-0 from the spot in the 55th minute. The victory moved Inter Milan to 91 points.
Inter Milan celebrated their victory in front of the their invited fans.
