Arsenal are reported to have made a £17M bid for Lazio and Argentina forward, Joaquin Corres which has been rejected by the Italian club. The club is demanding for £30M for the 26 year old who scored 11 gaols and provided six assists across all competitions last season.
The Gunners are in search of playmaker this summer and cannot depend on Smith Rowe to carry the club alone next season. After Buendia signed for Aston Villa, the club is trying to push for Martin Ordegaad to return after a successful loan spell or go for Correa as an alternative.
The Argentine has been linked with a move from Lazio to fund money for the new elected coach, Sarri to make some new signings. The forward is also a target Westham United and Everton, hence, Arsenal need to increase their bid if they are interested in finalising the deal.
