Following an outstanding performance of 7-0 against Norwich, Chelsea manager was asked if he still need more strikers for Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku substitutes. Unfortunately Tuchel said he is convinced with the attacking midfielder in his squad and anyone in Chelsea is capable of scoring goals.
'Unfortunately am okay with Hudson Odoi. I have attacking midfielders who can score goals, I don't think if we need more strikers as Lukaku and Timo Werner substitutes. Anyone here can score goals. Defenders have recorded a number of goals this season and can score more goals to add on this. At some point we may need new strikers but not now.'
According to Tuchel response to Sky sports England today, German tactician is convinced with his current squad and he doesn't have to get another striker now but a point will come when Chelsea will need a striker but not now. Chelsea attacking midfielders like Manson Mount, can score goals on the behalf of strikers. Defenders too are scoring goals and can score more goals.
