They won't win it!!!" Gary Neville claims Arsenal WON'T be Premier League champions this season spite their EIGHT-POINT lead at the top of the table.
Manchester United Legend Garry Neville has claimed that League leaders Arsenal won't win the Premier League but instead finish third behind his former club Manchester United. Besides Mikel Arteta's side reaffirmed their title credentials with a dominant 2-0 victory over north London rivals Tottenham on Sunday. Nevile also backed the Red Devils to finish second, above Arsenal in the table. He argued that Manchester City would find their lost form and overpower the Gunners.
He doesn't think Man United can win the title this season, despite their nine-game winning streak, and thinks that Man City will reclaim their form to reclaim their crown. The Reds have beaten league leaders Arsenal, defending champions City, and double cup winners Liverpool, and Tottenham at home. "I'd love for United to win this season but that won't happen." He added.
Pep Guardiola's side has hit a blip over recent weeks, losing their last two games to United and Southampton while they also dropped points against Premier League strugglers Everton. However, he backed them to turn it around and believed the depth and quality in their squad would mean they will overpower Arsenal eventually.
