After suffering a minor injury which ruled him out for three weeks, Okumu was back over the past weekend.He was introduced in the 90th minute as KAA Gent ran 1-0 winners over Standard Liege in a league match on Saturday despite a red card which came in the 45th minute through Vadis Odjidja Ofoe.
Okumu's form seems to be now back to normal as on Wednesday night he played the entire match in a second leg Belgium Cup semi final fixture.Okumu's KAA Gent ran 3-0 winners over Club Brugge to manage an aggregate score of 3-1.This is after a 1-0 loss in the first leg match.
Vadis Odjidja Ofoe opened the scoring for Gent in the second minute before Castro Montes made it two in the 35th minute.Depoitre made it three nine minutes into the second half to ensure the progression of Gent into the final.
