DEGERFORS VS MALMO.
Newly promoted Degerfors have performed superbly in their own backyard this season and Tobias Solberg’s side look a sporting wager to take something from their game against champions Malmo at Stora Valla this Saturday afternoon.
The hosts have won three of their four Allsvenskan outings here (L1) including a fine 2-0 victory over second placed Djurgarden, and there’s every reason to believe they can push the leaders close this weekend with a similar performance.
While Malmo are top and where they want to be 11 games in, Di blae have only managed to win two of their five away trips in the league (D1, L2) and they failed to beat FC Riga on their travels in Europe during the week, earning just a 1-1 draw from their trip to the Latvian capital.
As such, Jon Dahl Tomasson’s side are terribly priced for this clash at around the 1/2 mark and Degerfors merit support in the double chance market despite their awful 5-1 hammering at Hammarby last time out.
A set to against the champions gives Degerfors added motivation to find a response and we think the home side can clinch a point from this one via a 1-1 score-line.
