The Blues were in action yesterday against Newcastle as they looked forward to grab all the three points at the end of the final whistle. They had lost two consecutive Premier League matches.
In yesterday's match, both teams looked strong enough to win all the three points by the end of the final whistle. They both created multiple chances up front.
The match was goalless until In the 67th minute where James Willock opened the scoring. Chelsea tried to pull one back but Newcastle defence remained solid throughout the match. They ended up losing their third Premier League match in a row.
In that match, one of the player who impressed is Hakim Ziyech. The former Ajax star has been struggling to break into the first eleven on Graham Porter this season. He has been starting from the bench in most matches.
Yesterday, he was brought on in the second half and brought a massive impact. He created a few chances upfront and gave Newcastle defenders no rest. His top perfomance in that match proved he might be unstoppable if Graham Porter will give him more playing time.
This now means that, Hakim Ziyech top perfomance in yesterday's match proved Graham Porter wrong for benching him.
