The match between Portugal and German saw the world's two best national teams meet in a blockbuster Group match in the Euro Competitions. Both teams started the match well with German taking an early lead through Robin Gosens before the goal was ruled out for offside during the build-up play.
Portugal eventually took a well-deserved lead through Cristiano Ronaldo following an excellent counterattack. Portugal's lead did not last long with German immediately equalizing through a Ruben Dias Own goal.
Raphael Guerrero conceded another own goal to give German the lead before the halftime break. Havertz added a second in the 2nd half before Gosen scored with an excellent header to give German a three-goal advantage.
Portugal pulled one back through Diego Jota but that was not enough. Throughout the match, Manchester United and Chelsea fans were keen to see who will outshine the other between Bruno Fernandez and Kai Havertz.
The German midfielder eventually won the battle after another excellent night that saw him had a hand in two goals. Fernandez on his part had a very disappointing game. Here are some of the reactions from fans.
