Marcus Rashford returned from injury in a style with a brilliant goal on Saturday against the Foxes. The winger has been out for the first two months of the season due to shoulder surgery which he was suffering from for a while.
The 23-year-old English international has been the team's best forward and the main player before Bruno Fernandes arrived in January 2020. He has been scoring 20+ goals in the last two seasons in all competitions and last season he had 21 goals despite suffering from a shoulder problem despite proving how decisive he is.
The English star will be terrific in the left-wing for the Red Devils where he has been more effective. Manchester United has a great squad depth especially in the attack and Rashford coming back from injury could see some players getting benched and struggling to get more game time.
Greenwood and Jadon have been playing in both right and left-wing respectively but Sancho is yet to find his feet at Old Trafford. He was astonishing in the Bundesliga where he was one of the best players in the league. Sancho plays in both wings but he has thrived mostly in the right-wing but Ole Gunnar has been deploying him in the left due to Mason Greenwood.
Sancho will struggle to get more game time after Rashford's return and he could end up flopping. He has played 10 games for the Red Devils but he has not made any goal contribution. He has not been playing on the right as Ole Gunnar prefers playing Mason Greenwood there who has always been terrifying for defenders while playing on the right.
Rashford is one of the favorite players for Ole Gunnar and benching him would especially now when back with no problem. Sancho needs to put more hard work and prove himself under Solskjaer as he could end up flopping like Alexis Sanchez.
