Man Utd: Solksjaer Supports Rashford, Ferguson Praises Ronaldo, Solksjaer Admits to Struggling

Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has backed his support behind Marcus Rashford who is now in contention for selection in the England squad which will play in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Solksjaer said that he had observed a lot of improvement from the 23-year-old and he hopes that Gareth Southgate realizes the potential oozing from Marcus Rashford as he scouts for players who will represent England next year. Solksjaer added that Rashford is putting in a lot of work in training so that he can get fit and play on the pitch as soon as possible.

Gareth Southgate will have a very hard time selecting the players who will represent the Three Lions next year but Rashford will definitely be on his cards. The ball is now on Rashford’s court to prove that he is worth the risk of selection for the Qatar World Cup next year.

Sir Alex Ferguson has said that in his own opinion, Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to win the Ballon d’Or. “The records he has broken this season are a lot. He deserves recognition in the Ballon d’Or awards for it. His milestones are almost unachievable to some of the top players in the contemporary football era.”

“ I hope that whoever the adjudicators for the awards are, take note of what Ronaldo has achieved this season. He has been a pillar of success both at the club and international level. That is something that must not be overlooked.”

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has admitted that being a Manchester United manager is not an easy job because one has to oversee very many things. He nonetheless clarified that he was up for the challenge since his predecessors also gave all their commitment to ensure that Manchester United regained its reputation. He promised to make this season worthwhile for the fans.
