Arsenal received an injury boost after Mikel Arteta revealing on Arsenal's official website that their defending midfieder might return soon before the end of the season. This comes after Thomas Partey showing some progress healing from an injury.
Initially, Mikel Arteta had rules out that Thomas Partey's injury was serious in that he could not be available for the rest of the season. It was a blow to Arsenal to miss such a player in this critical moment. Arsenal was set to suffer in the absence of Thomas Partey.
Arteta confirmed that he does expect him to be available for the rest of the season. Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's game at West Ham, he said "Partey is progressing well. He has stepped up from his injury well. It is a good sign to the team. We hope that he will soon join the squad before the end of the season."
Arsenal need Thomas Partey to solve midfield problem. It will be a sigh of relief to them if he returns soon.
