Arsenal have reportedly been linked with a possible on Chelsea’s Ngolo Kante in the summer. Credible sources have revealed that the Gunners have a great chance of signing the Frenchman but only if they are willing to offer as much as €35 Million. Ngolo Kante has only 12 months remaining in his current contract with the Stamford Bridge owners and seemingly the protracted Boehly takeover has slowed Chelsea’s transfer business since they ought to have already extended Kante’s contract.
In a retrospective interview, Arsene Wenger admitted that his worst managerial transfer decision was never signing Ngolo Kante when he had a chance to do so for free during his tenure at the club. Arteta might as well reverse that failure in the summer by sanctioning a bid for the 30 year old.
Recent reports have revealed that Arsenal are in the final stages of launching a €25 Million bid on Bologna's fullback Aaron Hickey. It has been reported that the 19 year old has already told his teammates that he might be leaving the club while his agent is already in talks with the club over the possibility of the deal being completed in the summer. Hickey stands a great chance of being Kieran Tierney’s immediate back up, ahead of Nuno Tavares who has been insipid in his defensive skills.
Aaron Hickey recently gave clarity about what he wants in the foreseeable after pointing out that his ambition is to play in a new club and league so as to gain more experience. According to him, nothing is ruled out in the summer and he is keen to unravel what the future holds for him.
Thomas Partey is slowly but surely recovering from his injury as he aims to return back to the National team squad. Ghana’s FA recently received a compassionate letter from Arsenal, asking them to relieve the 27 year old from his international duties so that he can fully recover from his injury.
