I Will Not Spend Big Like Abramovich, Says New Chelsea Owner

Chelsea was put up for sale earlier this year by Roman Abramovic who was in charge since 2003.The Russian billionaire had to do so after the club was sanctioned due to the Russia Ukraine war.

It it was then bought by American Todd Boehy. The west London team enjoyed great prosperity under the reign of Abramovic due to the investments he injected into the club.

Boehy said at the Super Return International Conference in Berlin that financial fair play is beginning to get some teeth and therefore this is going to limit clubs from getting players at any price.

"UEFA takes it seriously and will continue to take it seriously.means financial penalties and disqualification from sporting competitions.” Boehy continued.
