After months of speculations, the government of Kenya under the leadership of his excellence president Uhuru Kenyatta, has lifted ban on stadium attendance ahead of league matches. The decision comes at a time when kenyan football clubs have been struggling to run their sporting activities due to lack of gate collection. Few days ago, Kenya football federation has also forced to cut over two hundred thousand monthly bonus for clubs from five hundred thousand to three hundred thousand Kenyan shillings.
Most of the clubs will now have some smooth time in running their activities such as travelling and player allowances. Fans will be happy to be back in the stadium and we expect alot of competition this season. Most of the clubs have done some good signings, one club that has surprised many Kenyans is Police FC. They have already acquired the services of Mark Makwata, Miheso and Dancan Otieno.
We wish the fans all the best as they head back to the stadium. For more news updates tap on the follow link on the top right corner.
