Dandora Stadium Construction to Stall For Two Months

Dandora stadium whose construction started back in 2019 and supposed to end in 2020 is set to stall for another two months according with reports from the City Hall, the stadium first stalled when it was 80% after the then Nairobi county governor Mike Sonko was accused of using the project to milk public funds.

The stalling of the stadium for another two months is a big blow to the community around it for it was meant to develop local talents, the contractor who has been constructing the stadium has so far been paid 137.5 million out of the total 350 million.

Recently the Senate order the construction of Dandora Stadium to commence something that was never taken seriously, one of the main works that has not yet been done in the stadium includes the installation of turf carpet which can only take a very short period of around one month.
