England were quite impressive in the World Cup series that ended recently but many believe it leaned more on individual performances than playing as a unit. Some of the stars acknowledged to have played a key role in England’s advancement were Harry Maguire, Jude Bellingham and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka. According to many, Maguire’s performance was an eye opener but the two other Youngsters roared their talent louder than the Manchester United captain.
“Harry Maguire was definitely conspicuous in the World Cup for England and I would rate his performance to a solid 8/10. However I think the younger duo was more sensational. Jude Bellingham clearly showed why BVB highly rates him. And Bukayo Saka, wow! He was sharp edged throughout the competitions,” commented Kaveh Solhekol, Sky Sports reporter.

Many are urging Maguire to make total use of the reputation he built during the World Cup. The 27 year old has been sidelined from Manchester United’s starting eleven, with his place being ran by Lisandro Martinez who has been fantastic since day 1. Many scouts were impressed by Maguire’s high grade performance and there’s definitely a big chance that he might get a formal offer soon.

Chelsea were linked with the England center back but backed off the deal and instead opted for Fofana in the summer. Leicester City have been rumored to be considering re-signing their former player but up until now the rumors have not been confirmed to be true. At the moment, Maguire is open for any suitors but would prefer staying in the Premier League.

Maguire leaving Manchester United is probably the biggest news that any Manchester United fan will want to hear. Lisandro Martinez has been unplayable for the club and the thought of Maguire ever topping Martinez for his position back is even laughable at the moment.
