Since the COVID-19 pandemic back in March 2020, die-hard Kenyan football fans have been unable to witness their teams' victories or defeats in person, instead having to watch the matches live on their televisions.
Well, that now seems like a thing of the past, with the reason for this being that the Ministry of health has opened the stadiums to fans, with a maximum number of 10,000 fans. For Gor Mahia, this is perfect news at the perfect time, as they will be free to cheer for their club when they take on Al Ahly Merowe this Sunday in a CAF Confederation Cup match. The encounter against Al Ahly will be the second leg of their encounter after Gor Mahia thrashed them in a 3-1 comeback.
Apart from the confidence Gor Mahia are in after thrashing the AFC Leopards, having their 12th man this Sunday is a big plus in their quest for continental glory.
