After the departure of some senior players from Old Trafford over the January winter transfer window, Manchester United had to add some more players to their senior core squad for the remaining period of the 2020/2021 season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is building a strong squad who will be challenging for major trophies this season and the following seasons.
Speaking on Friday to Manchester United TV podcast, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the addition of two more players to get the number to 23. He confirmed the addition of Phil Jones and Sergio Romero who was looking for an exit from Old Trafford.
He was quoted saying, "Sergio is working hard, training. He’s in the group. Of course he lost a lot of training early on in the season. Phil Jones has been rehabilitating his injury and we hope he will be back sooner."

Bruno Fernandes, Fred, Daniel James, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek.
Forwards:
Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford.
