Manchester United today rose to position 5 in the premier league after a five-goal thriller against Norwich City. The red devils started the first half at a fast pace scoring two goals before Norwich struck just before halftime through Kieran Dowell. In the second half, Teemu Pukki scored an equalizer making The Canaries level Man U at 2-2. Cristiano Ronaldo later completed his hat trick by scoring a stunning free kick and single handedly gave his team three crucial points. Manchester are currently trailing 3 points behind Tottenham at 57 points.
Tottenham Hotspur on the hand were thrashed 1-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion at home. The goal was scored by Leandro Trossard. This made the Spurs to remain at position 4 with 57 points.
Arsenal also suffered an unexpected away defeat to Southampton. The Saints had the winning goal from Jan Bednarek and collected three points.
Brentford also won their away match against Watford with Norgaad and Jansonn scoring and Emmanuel Dennis giving Watford the consolation goal.
