The beloved country of Africa Kenya is known for its habitat for rare species of wild animals. Its also known for her strength when it comes to Athletics. So many decades have passed Kenyans shining in long races. Today we are celebrating Ferdinand Omanyala the man who have managed to break multiple records in Africa for short races.
Today ABSA sponsored races where Gold Medalist in Tokyo Olympics had face Kenyan Athletics like Ferdinand Omanyala and Faith Kipyegon. The races were live on Saturday at Nation Television from Moi International Sports Centre.
Ferdinand Omanyala went head to head with Olympic Medalist Gutlin. Omanyala became the fastest man in Africa with a record of 9.77 just second after Gutlin who managed 9.75.
The gap was soo close but in races it what makes the difference especially in short races. Kenyan woman Faith Kipyegon also won the race with a style and was awarded Ksh.50,000 by ABSA former Barcelys Bank.
