United managed to top the table once before Manchester City picked them up after struggling with draws. The Red Devils fans were also disappointed after the club failed to qualify for the FA cup semi finals against Leceister City, hence, throwing a huge chance of winning a silverware.
The good news is that the club is in the European football knockout stages which can atleast enable them lift a trophy this season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to strengthen his side next season to be more competitive across Europe.
The Norwegian is keen to strengthen various departments which include the defence, midfield and the attacking to make the team more more balanced and dangerous. Varane of Real Madrid, Declan Rice of Westham United and Halaand of Borrusia Dortund are on the United shortlist to lead the club back to its glory days.
