Today Morocco played against Portugal in an exciting World Cup quarter-finals in Qatar. It was a match many people in the world expected to be easy for the Portuguese side but it was never to be.
The Atlas Lions showed great composure in the first half as they kept Portugal's strikers at bay. In the 42nd minute, Yousuf Elhersly headed in a thunderous header giving his side a one-goal lead.
It was that goal that moved Morocco to the semi-finals whereby they are expected to play against any team that wins between France and England later today.
Reaching World Cup Semi-Finals comes with a huge reward. Morocco will pocket between 25 and 27 million dollars.

In my view, Morocco might even reach the finals in the 2022 FIFA World Cup because they have shown great strength and composure since the WC started three weeks ago.
