3 Manchester United Players That Deserves To Start Against Arsenal

Manchester United has a good squad depth and not all players will feature in everything match. Others have to pave the way for the backup players to also get a chance to shine in the Premier League. In this article, I shall share with you three Manchester United players that produced a brilliant performance against the League leaders and deserve to start against The Gunners.

1. Jordan Sancho

Despite having a sloppy start against Chelsea in the first half. The former Manchester City winger managed to score the opening goal early in the second half. He displayed a brilliant performance before being withdrawn. Sancho is slowly gaining confidence he has now scored in two consecutive matches since Ole Gunnar parted ways with the club. Sancho should be given a chance to showcase his skills against Mikel Arteta's side on Thursday.

2. Nemanja Matic

The former Chelsea star producing one of his best performances this season against his former club. He was everywhere around the defense and offered enough cover for the center backs. He managed to handle all the pressure from Chelsea's attacking players. His experience will be highly required on Thursday, against Arsenal. Michael Carrick should give him a chance to shine again.

3. Erick Baily

Baily was excellent against Chelsea and he partnered up well with Victor Lindelof in the heart of Manchester United's defense. Billy could be among the best center backs in the Premier League only he can avoid injuries. Michael Carrick should give him another chance to start again in the Premier League despite Harry Maguire being available for selection. Erick Bailly produced a fantastic performance which Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has failed to produce despite being given plenty of playing time by the former manager Ole Gunnar. Harry Maguire should continue warming the bench until he recovers his form.
