Bad Luck To Harambee Stars Goalkeeper Patrick Matasi After This Happened To Him

Patrick Matasi plays for Ethiopia's top football league club Saint George in BetKing Premier League as first choice goalkeeper. He also had a successful stinct at the national soccer team Harambee Stars, which participated in the African Cup of Nations in Egypt, 2019.

In the League's mouth-watering clash played on Tuesday morning, the Saints faced off with Ethiopia Bunna in Sheger derby where Matasi started in goal for the hosts in a bid to climb to the top of the table.

It however took only 10 minutes for the custodian to receive matching orders from the referee, being penalized with a red card. He had to watch the remainder of the action from the stands. Sad moment it was!

St. George went ahead to lose the match 3-2, leaving them fourth on the log on 9 points. Abubeker Nassir was a thorn in the flesh of St. George netting all the 3 goals.

Ethiopia Bunna lead the table on 13 points, one point ahead of Hadiya Hossana while Fasil Ketema sits third on 10 points.
